Special thanks to mister RD Edawani for the help. I chose him as my subject of this article I'm gonna write for my feature article title "From Zero to Hero". Incase if you're wondering why do I choose him when I can go choose others?
Simply because he's the only person I know who works in fashion magazine so I would like to know the glimpse of magazine world. He actually gave me a lot of information that surely are handy though.
He inspired me to become a fashion writer from what I heard is you don't have to have certificate to be a writer. You can develop the techniques later on when you're used to it. I want to be like him. I want to work in the fashion magazine. I want to have my own clothing label. I want to have my own article. I want to conduct a photo shoot. Everything he's doing I want that.
Although the salary is not that great and it is very hard to sustain but its a learning process isn't it? You see many are saying that I'm lucky because I know exactly what I want and I know what I'm passionate of doing.
Most of my friends they're still lost. Finding their way of where they are going.
Idk maybe I'm just ambitious. and I'm that type of person who always dream big and making sure I get what I want. I have goals in my life for me to achieve. That is the reason why I'm working my ass off to get to what I want. Now the years of excessive TV watching is finally paid of cause of those particular TV program I get inspired of knowing what I want to do in life.
Well ofcourse you have to do some research and question those who are expert in it in order to get a brief images of where you are going. To tell you the truth my family never supported me they don't even care not even my friends. I don't know how did I get the enthusiasm from I really don't but I always get this small voices inside my head that keeps on pushing me to be strong and to achieve what I want.
Insyaallah, hopefully I'll succeed my goal.
Anyway, RD did gave me a valuable lesson and information for me to be prepare of the war in the magazine world. It is really a bitchy world in fashion. What ever you've seen in "Devil Wears Prada" that is what exactly happening in the real life.
I mean really not only in fashion world even in a small company people can be that bitchy to you. Its a difficult world to live and its up to you how to obtain it. Since I'm so into fashion magazine RD is the most suitable person for me to write as my hero.
I would die to to put Lauren Conrad as my hero but she's not a Malaysian and I have to set an interview in order to get this article done. So yeah it is difficult for me to get LC to answer my stupid interview question so I narrowed down to someone that I'm close to and here he is.
I owe you mister. Thank you so much for help. You're such a good friend and I hope project runway Malaysia season 2 is still on so that you can promote your amazing designs. Such a waste for a talented designer like you to not have an official clothing line yet. But I'm sure one fine day you will. I believe in you.
